“This is God’s compassion to us here, which is why we promise to take good care of it,” said Ligaya de Guzman, a choir member.

She was referring to the newly refurbished house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Jose Norte, in the Ecclesiastical District of Isabela West, Philippines, which was rededicated to God through a special worship service on March 30, 2024.

A Johannus organ, a state-of-the-art sound system, among other audio and video equipment, were installed in the newly refurbished house of worship.

“I felt very happy as I so anticipated that our house of worship be renovated. I thank our Lord God for such a blessing,” said Dante Magday, head deacon.

Brother Ronilo Delos Reyes, district supervising minister, led the holy occasion. From his Bible-based lecture, he taught the attendees that the house of worship serves as a dwelling place of God’s peace and blessings. With these which the brethren truly need to continue on through these trying times, Brother Delos Reyes emphasized that they must prioritize God’s will, especially attending worship services, as well as His other commandments.

“During our worship services we’re also blessed opportune times when we can all the more relay to God our woes and needs,” said Rajelene Ibuyat, deaconess, “and that further behooves us to not neglect attending our worship services.”
