To ensure that worship services, and other gatherings for God, are conducted by members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in a venue that befits the holiness of the occasion, houses of worship continue to be built and renovated around the globe. On January 19, 2024, the ecclesiastical districts of Cavite and Batac City, Ilocos Norte, in the Philippines, both held dedication worship services for their respective new house of worship.

In the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite, Brother Rene J. Panoncillo, the Church’s General Secretary, led the dedication of the newly renovated 1000-seater house of worship of the Local Congregation of Noveleta which formerly had 450-seating capacity.

“This house of worship is the very proof of the Father’s blessing to our district. It is where the brethren will go to show their dedication to God. It is here where they will pray to and worship Him. We are so grateful to the Church Administration for remembering our district,” affirmed Brother Rolly Gamboa, Cavite district supervising minister.

Brother Panoncillo emphasized that the house of worship is important in the lives of God’s true servants. They take good care of it and always attend the worship services conducted therein, showing utmost respect to God Whose love and glory dwells in it.

Remembering the maiden years of their local congregation, Myrna Cayabyab, a deaconess and among the pioneer members, said, “Back then, we were affected by floods in the area that we have to be on guard in order to maintain the cleanliness of our house of worship. Now that God has given us this very beautiful house of worship, I will love and take care of it.”

Meanwhile, in the ecclesiastical district of Batac City, Ilocos Norte, Brother Edwin Alcantara, district supervising minister, led the dedication to God of the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Currimao. Brother Alcantara also reminded the brethren how pivotal the house of worship is in their services to God.

“The brethren are so grateful to have a beautiful house of worship where they can congregate to implore God His help. We promise to take care of this place for God Himself loves and highly regards this place as His dwelling place,” said Brother Alcantara.- With assistance from Rose Ann Ramallosa and Ian Cristoff Danao of INC News Section
