ESTONIA―The Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe added the Talinn Group Worship Service (GWS) which conducted its inaugural worship service on April 27, 2019. Brethren from the Helsinki, Finland Local Congregation and Church officers from Oslo, Norway, and Frankfurt, Germany also attended the holy gathering.

On the morning of the historic occasion, the brethren distributed pamphlets about the Church Of Christ at Freedom Square Park and invited people to attend the worship service.

Jessibel Dejito from Helsinki, Finland Local Congregation, said, “We are giving these pamphlets to introduce the Church to the people and to invite them to the inaugural worship service.”

Brother Romeo Marquez, district supervising minister, who led the inaugural worship service said, “The brethren here will be able to continue their worship to God at a nearer place and nonmembers will also be given the chance to hear the pure gospel.”

After the worship service, the brethren handed out goodwill bags to the guests, as part of the Aid to Humanity program.

Joribee Veevo, a first-time guest, expressed gladness for attending. “I noticed that the worship service is peaceful, the members are nice, and I can feel that I am welcome,” he said.

Patricia Simone, a pioneer in the GWS, said, “We thank the Almighty God, Whom through the Church Administration, allowed us to have this worship service in this part of the world.” ― With reports from INC News Section
