About the Iglesia Ni Cristo
(Church Of Christ)

The Iglesia Ni Cristo or Church Of Christ is a Christian religion whose primary purpose is to worship the Almighty God in a manner taught by the Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles as recorded in the Bible.

The Church Of Christ is a church for all peoples. It is for everyone who will embrace the true faith regardless of race, nationality, cultural background, social standing, economic status, and educational attainment.

Thus far, the Iglesia Ni Cristo has an international membership comprising 151 racial and ethnic backgrounds. It maintains nearly 7,000 congregations and missions grouped into more than 178 ecclesiastical districts in 165 countries and territories in the six inhabited continents of the world.

Vision: A Radiant Church

In Ephesians 5:27, the Church Of Christ is described as a “radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless” (New International Version).

Based on this, the Iglesia Ni Cristo is envisioned as a Church that is in perfect unity of faith and practice, where every member is devoted to a life of holiness founded on true Christian teachings and is dedicated to all of his or her Christian duties toward spiritual maturity.

Mission: A Church that Shares

Concerning the mission of the Church, Mark 16:15-16 states, “And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned'” (NIV) and Colossians 1:28 affirms, “We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ” (NIV).

Hence, the Iglesia Ni Cristo shall continuously preach the gospel of salvation written in the Bible thereby propagating the Church and edifying the faithful, guiding them in the proper worship of God and righteous way of life leading to salvation.
