Washington brethren hold districtwide food drive

Church Of Christ members from the Ecclesiastical District of Washington State conducted a food drive on June 1, 2020 under the auspices of Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, Inc., the Church’s humanitarian arm.

The brethren donated a total 9,309 pounds of food packages to the Northwest Harvest hub, a non-profit organization operating 375 food banks across the state of Washington. The food packages contained canned fruits, vegetables, meat, soup, macaroni and cheese, and other shelf stable, non-perishable foods.

On behalf of Northwest Harvest, Martiza Prince, the organization’s food drive coordinator, expressed gratitude to the Church through Brother Barrington Thompson, the district supervising minister. ― With reports from INC News Section
