As a proof of God’s love and mercy, more people in Papua New Guinea has joined the Church Of Christ in the Australia West Ecclesiastical District through the consecutive baptisms held in the beginning of May this year.

On May 1, 2021, Brother Regino Manangan Jr., resident minister, led the holy baptism in the Port Moresby Local Congregation‘s house of worship. The following day, he officiated another baptism held at the place of worship of Lae City Local Congregation.

During the preaching of God’s words, the candidates for baptism were taught a biblical lesson regarding the importance of holding on firmly to the divine election especially now that Judgment Day is fast approaching.

Learning from the words of God taught to them in this sacred occasion, the newly baptized brethren promised that even if difficulties and persecutions keep coming in their lives, they will continue in their active service and worship of Him.

“Though woes and hardships come one after another, the true servants of God in this part of the world will never stop in upholding their divine election,” said Brother Manangan with conviction. “We will remain united with the Executive Minister and will also continue with our diligence in the works of propagation to spread the Good News to the people of this world.”- With reports from INC News Section
